Description
RARE DOG ART TRADE CARD, COLLECTIBLE, USA and CANADA. 1902 Large Card version (there were also smaller cards issued)- Champion Dog Series, Issued by Dwight Soda Company, with beautiful full color art paintings by renowned illustrator Gustav Muss-Arnolt, who later illustrated the covers of the American Kennel (Club) Gazette each month. Each card is Very Good to Excellent condition, this card bears an inscription on the back side. Size of the card is 1 7/8" long by 2 15/16" tall. Printed on the reverse side with details of the breed (A game little foreigner on the toy spaniel order except that his skull is depressed on the side and his ears are shorter and carried more on the terrier style. His tail is very heavily covered with hair and is carried a la pompadour over the back but falling somewhat to one side. Colors are black and white and orange and white.), the series number (#20 of 30 Cards in this series) and breed name (Prince Charles Spaniel). Very bright and vibrant artwork on is card!! Only One!!These are not only great breed collectibles and memorabilia or ephemera, they make great gifts, dog show trophies, presents, and look incredible framed on a desk, mantle or wall!!

Condition Grading (Worldwide!) is typically as follows:
Mint: Almost as good as new; entirely un-blemished.
Excellent: As good as could be expected: cards clean with a minimum of damage, sharp corners and edges.
V. Good: Slight damage only. Corners not creased but may have slightly rounded corners, some light soiling possible especially to end cards.
Good: Some damage or soiling, includes corner damage, damage from adhesive backs, grubby backs.
Fair: Card may be damaged by creases, folds, crack or dirty mark.
Poor: Card with a number of the above faults.
