Dad knew the CEO of AMC (see picture 3: 1967 Auto Show NY Coliseum  Dan List (dad) with Roy Chapin CEO Kambler (AMC), and he was friends with the author of this book (John Conde..I had 4,, the two that were signed are sold, this is the last one of any kind, but not signed) and was a dedicated collector of AMC, Hudson & Essex automobiles his entire life.  Unfortunately for me, the Hudson Hornet is gone,and got stuck with this beautiful pictorial catalog of AMC throughout its history and its many names.
This is the 1969 1st Edition of this beautiful, softcover photographic/historical compendium of AMC.  Countless rare photos of RAMBLER, JEFFREY, NASH, AJAX, LaFayette, HUDSON, ESSEX, TERRAPLANE, AMBASSADOR, MARLIN, METROPOLITAN, REBEL, AMX & JAVELINS.  put this beautiful 146 page album together.  Dad was life-long member of the HET club, and owned many antique cars over the years, at least 1/2 dozen of which were Hudsons.  He had, at one point, 36 antique automobiles stored in the NYC area, and had a thriving business in the 1960s and 1970s renting out his cars for movies and advertisement.  No surprise I should find this gem among his things, and there is nothing he's want than to have it in the hands of like-minded people, and NOT forgotten in box.  See all pictures, its quite a book.
