    Description

    Antique George W. Ely Shaving Mug with Gold Leaf - T&V (Tressemann & Vogt) Limoges France (1892-1907). George W. Ely (1840-1922). Served in 7th Regiment during Civil War. Joined New York Stock Exchange in 1869. Secretary of New York Stock Exchange (1874-1900). Mug measures 3 5/8" height and 3 5/8" diameter. Makers defect at base, not chipped as gold leaf ring ends at either side before connecting and rolls to bottom. Good overall condition considering age. Please see pictures.
