Coco Palms Honeymoon Suite 22 kt Gold Leaf tiles on jade green glass

These vintage tiles came from the bathroom of the honeymoon suite of the Coco Palms resort during demolition of that wing in October, 2016. A limited number of these tiles were removed from the suite prior to demolition. All the tiles were hand made with a unique gilding process. The tiles are approximately 50 years old. The honeymoon suite was the only room in the 400 room hotel to have these gold gilded tiles on green glass.
The first photo is of the front of the tile which is gilded in 22 kt gold leaf. The second photo is the back of the tile which is dark jade green glass. The third photo is the living room of the honeymoon suite.
Some tiles still have grout on the glass. Attempting to remove the grout could cause the tile to break because it is glass. Each tile will be shipped in a small priority mail box via USPS and comes in a small velvet bag to protect it and that bag is enclosed in a small jewelry box.
Each one is approximately 3/4 inches by 3/4 inches. Because of the age of the tiles, they are not perfect but represent a big piece of the history of Coco Palms.
Each will come with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity which includes details of the tiles origin. November 25, 2020 is the first time these tiles have been offered for sale.
