Coleman 200A Lantern (Burgundy ?) 1967 (lot41C)

Description

Vintage Coleman 200A Single mantle Lantern, that appears to be burgundy in color or dark red.
A previous owner for whatever reason has painted the fount white and some of the white paint
got onto the collar also.
The Burgundy or Dark Red colored ventilator is in excellent condition with 2 very, very small pin
head chips (see pics).
The globe has one small burn spot near the top.
The fount has been painted white for whatever reason as I see no dents or damage to it and
the few spots that are not white, it is a very dark red or burgundy color.
It appears to have NOT been used very much as the bottom of the bottom rim on the fount shows very little wear.
The burner cage is very clean and the handle is very clean also.
The collar has the Sunshine Logo, as does the bottom of the fount.
All the valves turn OK but it wont pump up so it probably needs a new filler cap gasket.
If someone can find a way to remove the white paint without damaging the original paint
underneath, they will have a very nice burgundy or dark red color lantern.
I am selling it "AS FOUND-Untested"- "AS IS" and hoping someone can restore it.
