New Black and White Photograph by Library of Congress - Mint Condition.
The name is in a Title Block underneath the image.
Overall Size:  20" x 12 1/2", Image Size:  17" x 10 3/4"
Farragut began his life as a sailor early, he commanded a prize ship captured in the
War of 1812 when he was 12 years old.  He joined the Navy in December 1810.
Farragut died in 1870 and was laid to rest in Brooklyn, New York.
