A superior patent pending unique design of 3 strategically located darts across the forehead creates a “Vizor” made from a soft UV proof EVA lining and a UV proof PVC mesh. It lifts & extends the mask up and prevents it from collapsing on the eyes. This combined use of EVA lining & PVC mesh not only helps avoid eye injuries but also increases the overall UV protection to 95%. The combined use of these two materials also insulates the forehead from the heat of the sun and increases shade and ventilation to the eyes.
A first of its kind Safety Quick Release Clip System features two adjustable straps (one over the poll behind the ears and one under the throat) along with a Velcro strap under the chin. This not only creates greater size adjust-ability to help fit your horse better, but also helps to prevent your horse from removing their mask.

Measure the size of your horse's FOREHEAD
Measure from the outer corner of one eye, up and over along your horse's forehead to the outer corner of the other eye. This will measure the widest part of your horse's forehead when done correctly. (See Picture)
NOTE:
Do NOT measure straight across the eyes as the distance will result in a Fly Mask size likely too small for your horse.

EQUIVIZOR HORSE FLY MASKS - How To Apply & Ensure A Correct Fit
Ensuring your fly mask is properly sized to your horse is key to receiving the maximum benefits of its superior design elements.
Please review the following instructions prior to fitting your Equivizor Fly Mask to your horse. Should you have any questions, we are always here to help!
Verify the Three (3) darts are pushed out to form the Vizor.
Adjust the poll strap behind the ears, and the one strap under the throat to ensure it is snug and secure.
(It is recommended that all strap adjustments be done while the mask is off of the horse and the Quick Release Clips are disconnected. Once adjusted, test and clip it on your horse. If further adjustment is needed, remove from horse to make additional adjustments.)
Regularly inspect and adjust, if necessary.
Once sizing is complete, we highly recommend you cut the excess straps and seal the ends to prevent fraying. Leaving excess strap increases the risk of it becoming a ‘buddy toy’ for other horses’ pulling on it or getting it caught in something that might be hazardous to your horse. This could also trigger the quick release safety clips* to prematurely break. Additionally,
do not
loop around or tie the excess strap in a knot as that also creates rub marks and tension that could break the straps or clips.
As horses rub, the mesh at the darts will begin the fray. Even though the mask may not look perfectly new from the outside, the EVA lining on the inside continues to perform as designed, remaining intact and protecting your horse’s eyes.

TIP :
If you plan on riding with your mask on your horse - please ensure you do not cut the excess straps too short. You will need to loosen up the straps to allow the mask to go over the headstall for your ride. When the ride is over you simply then tighten the straps to their previous position.
