Please understand that eBay has made a decision to no longer permit Confederate battle flag and related listings. We believe the image of the flag itself has become a contemporary symbol of divisiveness and racism. This is not a reflection or judgement on anyone selling the item and we respect that there are a wide variety of opinions on this issue. We thank you for your understanding and ask you to please not list these kinds of items.

Lieutenant General Jubal Early
CSA
Signature Series.
Commemorating the 150
th
Anniversary of the
Confederate States of America
Signed
Jubal Early never surrendered.
Federal troops scoured Franklin County looking for him as he moved from place to place. Hiding at his old home place, he was able to slip by a Union encampment nearby and escape south to voluntary exile in Mexico and Canada before being pardoned in 1868 by President Andrew Johnson.
This lot is for ONE (1) item.
Approximate size:
8.5 x 10.75 inches
.
Printed on satin finish archival paper
(
260 gsm, 11 mil thick sheet)
with archival inks, then UV coated. Bearing his signature, in an acid free glassine envelope.
This is a museum quality Fine Art Print.
All prints have been produced to the highest archival standards. That means, the prints are made on archival paper and printed with fade resistant inks, then sprayed with a film of UV protection.
About the photographic paper used:
Micro Ceramic Luster's coating contains a layer of very uniform ceramic particles, arranged into a pattern of pores within the sheet. These pores are like vertical inkwells, which accept ink just below the surface. The uniformity of the inkwells allows for quick ink absorption and prevents light from scattering on the sheet. This produces an image with an unmatched level of color depth and detail. Unlike typical clay-based coated papers, images printed on Micro Ceramic Luster show excellent water-resistant properties and there is no loss of gloss across the surface, even in areas with heavy ink coverage.
Each CSA Signature Series image comes with a short excerpt out Southern Civil War history describing the heroic figure with a appropriate Confederate Flag at the top. Tastefully printed on gray cover stock. Suitable for framing.
The 3rd Confederate National Flag is for educational and display purposes and is not part of this offer.  This particular Flag was made for President Jefferson Davis Casket and was made out of silk.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
THE MAJORITY OF THESE IMAGES BEAR THE SIGNATURE OF THE GENERAL ON THE PRINT, EXCEPT AS NOTED. THESE PHOTOGRAPHS
HAVE NOT
BEEN AUTOGRAPHED BY R. E. LEE OR ANY OTHER GENERAL or M.B. Brady, THOUGH IT APPEARS TO LOOK THAT WAY. THEIR ACTUAL SIGNATURE HAS BEEN ARTFULLY APPLIED THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHIC METHODS.
What makes these prints so different form others? It has been made directly from a digital file of
the glass, wet collodion negative made over 150 years ago. It has been meticulously retouched and restored. The average file producing the final print is over one gigabit in size and it is 16bit for the finest detail.
I will leave feedback once the product has been received and the customer has left feedback on my page. This lets me know that you the customer have received the package and are happy with your purchase.
SOME people
seem a little confused as to my descriptions: (I want nobody to be disappointed in there purchase, I take great pride in what I do).
Let me make myself perfectly clear. What you see, is what you get, the image on eBay is the PRODUCT you will receive, and in all cases better. I have described in great detail each item and exactly what it is. If you have any requests or questions please do not hesitate to ask before you order, I will be happy to answer them.
Know what you are buying.
It is what it is, a
Museum Quality print
made and restored from a digital file using the old glass negative and in rare instances a print, it is
NOT
an original print made in the 1860's and restored, (seems I had one buyer expecting an original restored print circa 1860's with actual signatures made by the General's on the print for .95) it is a
restored
archival
digital reproduction
, with the General's signature carefully applied, not some cheap print. Again, if
you
have any questions please ask.
