    Description

    Straight from an estate sale in Kentucky comes this Rare I.W. McGrew General Merchandise Burwell, Nebraska Advertising Glass Sign. Condition is used, but good. No chips or cracks. Measures: 10 1/8” X 8 1/8”. I believe the glass is reverse painted and depicts a man putting horses in a stable and young girls walking down a path, very nice country scene and it has the advertising for I.W. McGrew’s General Merchandise. The glass has a chain around it that serves as a frame and a chain to hang it on the wall. Very nice early advertising piece, probably late 1800’s or early 1900’s.
