    Photograph of Lt. General
    Thomas J. (Stonewall) Jackson
    taken November 1862.
This image was his wife’s favorite. Mrs. Jackson always felt this was the best likeness of her husband. This image was used in making his monument in Lexington, Va., the statue in Richmond, Va.,  and the special VERY limited edition engraving of her husband.

This is a photo reproduction from the original glass negative or old print
    .
    Size: One Approximately
    7 1/2 x 10 7/8 inches
. Printed on satin finish archival paper
    (260gsm 11 mil thick sheet)
    with archival inks.
This is a Fine Art, Museum Quality Print.
This print comes in a acid free archival glassine envelope. General Jackson did not sign this print. His signature has been artfully applied in brown to make look that way. This print was made in the 21st Century, General Jackson is in no condition to sign it. A note about the brown signature. That was not the color ink used at that time, because of the high iron content in the ink when it was made, it actually rusted over time.
In addition this print will have a rare example of General Jackson's signature. It will read T.J. Jackson Lt Genl. It is not displayed on this example.
Each CSA Signature Series image comes with a short excerpt out Southern Civil War history describing the heroic figure. Tastefully printed on gray cover stock with a Confederate flag as above printed (no longer allowed by eBay) at the top of the sheet. Suitable for framing.
    Reviews:
    eBay buyer,

My son loved the Steve Jobs photo. Unbelievable work. Your talent is rare!
Thank you for your kindness in combining the shipping and handling charges. I will be purchasing all three and checking out more in the future".

    Errata
    SOME people
seem a little confused as to my descriptions: (I want nobody to be disappointed in there purchase, I take great pride in what I do).
Let me make myself perfectly clear. What you see, is what you get, the image on eBay is the PRODUCT you will receive, and in all cases much better. I have described in great detail each item and exactly what it is. If you have any requests or questions please do not hesitate to ask before you order, I will be happy to answer them.
    Know what you are buying.
It is what it is, a
    Museum Quality print
made and restored from a digital file using the original old glass negative and in rare instances a print, it is
    NOT
an original print made in the 1860's and restored, (seems I had one buyer expecting an original restored print made in 1870 with actual signatures made by the General's on the print for only .95???) it is a
    restored
    archival digital reproduction
, with the General's signature carefully applied, not some cheap print. Note His signature is relish brown. This is because the blueish purple ink used at that time had a high iron content and actually rust over time.
Again, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
