Two ANTIQUE British Army AMMO CANS, One 30 Cal & the Other 7.62 Cal - Used

Up for auction are a couple of antique British Army AMMO CANS.  These cans are empty, of course.  Yes, ammo cans like these are as common as sea shells on the sea shore but what makes these stand apart is the fact that they are very, very old.  One is dated 1959 and the other is dated 1964, making one of them 62 years old and the other one 57 years old.  One of them is stenciled for 30 caliber ammo and the other one is stenciled for 7.62 ammo.  I have owned two Daimler Ferret armored cars in my life and these cans were in them, one in each Ferret.  The first Ferret I owned was a Mark 1/2, serial number 00EA40, and it had the 7.62 can in it.  My second Ferret, another Mark 1/2, serial number 00EC93, had the 30 caliber can in it, so I'd say that it means these cans are authentic British Army cans.  Please feel free to ask any questions or request more photos.  Thank you for looking at my auctions.
