Two Vintage Military boxes Metal Ammunition US Army boxes for collectors or Man

the PRICE IS FOR TWO METAL, ARMY BOXES
After doing a research on the web, what do these lettering on the boxes mean, I realized that they are from 1942-1950. My respect for them has risen incredibly!
Despite the weather, the boxes are in very good condition. One has a rusty lid, but inside both are new.
The sizes are: 12 "/ 6" /7.5 "or 30/15/18 cm
The pictures clearly show all the boxes.
