    Description

    Very nice dug Union spur recovered on The Trostle Farm on The Gettysburg Battlefield. This piece came out of the Rosensteel Collection of Gettysburg Artifacts which sold at auction in 2016. The rowel completely disintegrated in the ground but the rest of the spur is solid with some slight bending from the ground. This spur is the gutter back variety. A very nice piece that came to us directly from Gettysburg, Pa.
    This spur will come in this glass and wood locking case for display.
