I have only been able to locate “one,” exactly like it and it’s in a military museum.  I contacted the museum regarding its value and unfortunately, they wouldn’t provide any helpful information. Okay...I know, this sounds stupid, but originally, I purchased it for my son, who was a gunner in the Army.  I was going to fill it with sand and put a round piece of a glass on top of it to make it a useable table for his living room aka a conversation piece; however, after a rational moment of thought,  I realized that making it into anything than other than what it is, would in someway, cheapin’ the reality of the war, which is why I’m hoping to sell it to someone that has a nostalgic and/or historic reason for owning it.  After finding out that my son’s dog peed on everything, I decided to keep it.  But now, I’m moving and I have to part with it.  Also, from the time I purchased it to date, I’ve only had “extremely” good luck and health; therefore, I can guarantee that there isn’t any negative energy attached to it. In fact, prior to purchasing it...I was given (3) different death dates due to my failing liver and a pancreatic tumor, all of which have disappeared. Okay, my liver didn’t disappear, just the illnesses. I’m sure my strict, healthy diet, along with my positive attitude, played a huge part on my recovery; however, it could just have easily gone the other way.
In some of my research, I asked a few people about why there are not more of these types of artifacts around and I was told it’s because they were all scrapped for re-use in other metal manufacturing.  I don’t know if that is true; therefore, any help would be deeply appreciated. Please be nice!
