Vintage Equestrian Hunt Plate # 1, Heinrich & Co, Selb, Bavaria
This striking hand painted plate draws the eye with its vivid colors and sense of movement captured by the artist. The fine black horse is poised at a precipice as the rider visibly restrains him. On the reverse of the plate, under a crown, is the mark of the maker, "H & Co., Selb Bavaria" and ""Heinrich & Co." Also, there is "Original painted by C. Diebitsch". On the front of the plate are the initials of the artist, "CD". The gilding on the plate, both outer and narrow inner ring, is in fine condition. There are no chips, hairlines, repairs or crazing. This plate was for display and probably never used. The diameter is 6.5 inches. We will gladly combine postage on multiple purchases
