You are bidding on a beautiful reproduction cross pendant necklace and matching earrings from the Smithsonian Institution & Avon.
Inspired by a priceless treasure from the Smithsonian Institution, this is an Italian painted & champlevé enamel, gold Cross Pendant of the 17th century, meticulously created under the guidance of the Smithsonian Institution, both pendant & earrings bear the Smithsonian's Seal of Authorization.
Bright, gold tone metal. The Cross Pendant is approx. 2 & 1/4" long. Blue & white, glaze enamel on one side, reversing to engraved gold tone on the other side.  2 1/4" from the top of the bale by 1 7/8" and hanging on a 34" gold tone chain with a lobster claw clasp.
Signed: "Smithsonian" & "Avon".
The Earrings replicate the floret in the center of the Cross. Earrings are lever back posts for pierced ears. Earrings are approx. 1 & 1/8" long. Signed: "SI".
