    Description

    I'm pleased to offer this piece of mid-century history for sale! This is a cup produced by Heinrich & Co Porcelain just after the end of WWII. The pattern, 16257, was produced since 1945, and the US Zone of Germany was officially merged into the Federal Republic of Germany in 1949, so this little cup was created in Selb, Bavaria sometime between those years.
    Considering its age, it's survived very well. The cup's floral designs are all intact and bright, and the gilt is beautiful and shiny. It would have likely come with a saucer as well, but that has been sadly lost! It measures 2.25 inches high, 4.75 inches across including the handle, and 4.05 inches across otherwise.
