    Vintage Heinrich & Co (H&Co) 16 Inch Black Greek Key Oval Platter Bavaria
    For consideration is this vintage oval platter made by Heinrich & Co. (H&Co.) between 1930 and 1939 in the Black Greek Key pattern with gold lines on both sides on a white background. The platter measures 15¾ inches long, 113/8 inches wide and 11½ inches tall. The back of the platter is marked (see photos), and there are no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, discoloration or crazing noted. There is some gold loss in places around the rim. Buyer will pay Priority or FedEx shipping on a large 15” x 15” x 5” box weighing 5 pounds. Thank you for looking!
    NOTE:
    Franz Heinrich was a Bavarian porcelain painter. In 1896, he built a melting pot in his parents' house in Selb. Initially, he bought whiteware from local porcelain factories, but starting in 1901, he produced his own porcelain. In 1976, Heinrich Porzellan was integrated into the Villeroy & Boch brand.
