    Description

    The Burning Bush was a popular theme in late Byzantium, appearing repeatedly in Icons and manuscripts of the time.
    These jewelry was developed from a cutting of the actual leaves brought back from the legendary
    bush in Mt. Sinai.
    Produced in cooperation of the Holy Monastery of Saint Catherine in Mt Sinai.
    These rare jewelry set was specially made for the Museum's 2004 special exhibition Byzantium Faith and Power (1261 -1567 )
